Software Installation Requirements

For the best experience with this workshop, it's recommended that you run Kali Linux.

Linux users will still be able to get the full experience, but must install xHydra first.
sudo apt install hydra-gtk

MacOS and Windows users will still be able to use the hydra command line tools, but will not be able to use the Hydra GUI.

Mac OS:


            brew install hydra

Both Windows and Mac OS: THC Hydra

MacOS:
brew install hashcat

Linux:
sudo apt install hashcat

Windows:
Download the hashcat *binary* (not source) here: https://hashcat.net/hashcat/ Extract and open the .exe file
